I have been afraid to write
scared of what is going to come out
what will leak
what I will admit
what will shock me
I have been frightened
to read my reflection
to see my pain
in the black and white
of my thoughts
love
death
seperation
questions
longings
forgiving
and
confronting
disease
past and new
love
that never ends
and
love
that does
I have been afraid
of it
too frightened
to write
it.
